Livestock CCTV Monitoring

Contact Us

We have been developing, installing and maintaining livestock monitoring systems for over 15 years, originally the first livestock monitoring CCTV system was installed within a poultry/broiler shed, installed within the control room, positioned to view the control panels, allowing the poultry farm manager to monitor the shed temperatures and alarm warning lights remotely from the farm office.

Later with advancements in technology and broadband speeds, we were able to transmit the live CCTV images over to a central monitoring station specifically designed for poultry, we then carried out the installation of eight additional cameras inside the poultry sheds, the poultry monitoring team could then view the welfare of the birds remotely, having the ability to detect issues early on a farm can be critical in preventing livestock loss, as any livestock farmer will appreciate, the faster you are alerted to a problem the faster you can respond, potentially saving your animals lives.

Ultra-Smart Livestock CCTV Monitoring.

Receive instant notification alerts when equipment or environmental issues threaten your livestock.

The central control hub that we install alongside our monitoring cameras can be integrated with other equipment across the farm, lighting, power, generators even your security systems, alerting you to power outages, turning on lights or starting generators remotely are just a few of the features of the system.

Our livestock monitoring camera systems utilise high definition cameras that use a range of optical zoom lenses, Unlike digital zooms, which pixelate when the operator wants to close in on a subject, an optical system uses lenses to magnify the image. Images remain in sharp focus even at 100m (330ft) allowing the camera operator to zoom in close enough to check the levels in feeders and drinkers. This also means farmers can get up close to the livestock without the need to enter the building or shed, this helps reduce the risk of carrying disease into the sheds.

Camera images can be viewed anywhere, anytime through a smartphone, tablet or computer, The hub can send alarms for specific sheds or buildings directly to your smartphone, you can then log in to see what the problem is, The faster you are alerted to a problem the faster you can respond, potentially saving your animals lives.

BIO Secure Access Control.

BIO Security is every farmer's number one priority, diseases can spread quickly through livestock, controlling authorised visitors through a busy farm can be demanding on its own, then consideration has to be given to the threat of BIO security breaches from unwanted visitors, one poultry site we visited had activists trespassing across the farm during the night, entering sheds, causing stress to the birds and causing damage to the sheds, not to mention the BIO security risks they presented to the birds.

Our automatic number plate, Barrier solutions can help control authorised access to the farm day and night, allowing authorised vehicles to automatically pass the barrier while blocking un-authorised vehicles, visitors that are not authorised will utilise the intercom mounted at the barrier, the video calls will then be displayed on your smartphone, giving you the option to allow or deny entry.

Our auto-tracking PTZ camera can detect, track and inform, as soon as a person enters the camera pre-determined detection areas, the camera will immediately send alerts directly to your smartphone, the camera will then proceed to track the target, allowing you to know their exact location when you arrive on the farm.
