We believe in affordable, easy to use commercial CCTV cameras so you can spend more time working on your business. From cafes to offices, shops to warehouses, Our range of business CCTV cameras and systems can help protect your business 24/7.

The correct CCTV camera type selection is integral to your commercial CCTV system design, the majority of commercial CCTV camera systems that are available on the market today will produce footage during daytime hours without any issues, however, it is usually during the evening and night that a lot of CCTV cameras can falter, producing grainy images due to insufficient infra-red lighting, installing commercial CCTV cameras high up on eves boards often makes for an easier installation, however, the infra-red light has to illuminate even further before the target area can be seen, selecting the incorrect night vision capability on your camera can mean the difference between having a clear target area image at night and unfortunately seeing nothing.

As mentioned above, the correct placement of commercial CCTV cameras are integral in a professionally designed commercial CCTV system, we believe there isn't one single commercial CCTV camera that can provide the correct image in all circumstances, a CCTV camera that has a wide-angle view would not provide a detailed image when positioned to cover a narrow alleyway, similarly to a narrowed view CCTV camera, would not provide the required image when positioned to cover a wide-open car park or large residential garden.

Your CCTV needs are as unique as the home or business you are looking to protect, this is why we will bespoke design your new home or commercial CCTV system in line with your exact requirements.

The traditional way of defining requirements for the resolution of a CCTV system has been by specifying what percentage of the full screen the target object will occupy. Different surveillance targets require different percentages. For example, detecting the presence of a person in a CCTV cameras field of view could require that the person occupies 10% of the screen, However, Recognizing a known person could require that the person occupies more than 50% of the screen, even further, identifying that person could require 80% or more.

Other criteria are valid for objects such as license plates, where typical recommendations are that the height of letters should be represented by 15 pixels (corresponding to about 200 pixels/m) to ensure legibility.

When a CCTV camera is positioned for detection, the CCTV operator should be able to distinguish that the intruder is human, very few other characteristics are available to the operator.

Take your CCTV system to the next level with analytic security.

Video analytics use scientific algorithms to automatically detect people, vehicles or other objects in your CCTV camera field of view.

This sophisticated technology can also detect advanced events such as specific items left or removed, moving across a trip wire line in a specific direction of travel.

Intelligent Detection

Intelligent processing at the camera can detect a range of different events, intrusion into a predefined exclusion areas, crossing a predefined trip wireline, camera masking and scene change. Any of these, or a combination of one or more, can then trigger an alarm event notification.

ANPR CCTV Systems

ANPR solutions can vary from simple number plate image recognition, up to an intelligent number plate driven control system these types of systems are ideal for large corporate car parks or gym membership systems. Once the number plate is captured it can trigger predefined events, opening barriers, gates or logging vehicle parking times are just a few examples.

Algorithms that control the pan/tilt/ and zoom actions of the auto-tracking PTZ CCTV camera, automatically detect and track humans or vehicles that are in motion.

Commercial CCTV Camera Types.

Vandal Resistent CCTV Camera

Anti-Vandal Dome - Commercial CCTV Camera

Vandal-resistant CCTV cameras are designed to be rugged and tough so that they will continue working when subjected to rough treatment. The best vandal-resistant CCTV cameras will withstand direct blows to their housings and lens covers without breaking and without interrupting the video.

Vari-Focal CCTV Camera

Vari-Focal - Commercial CCTV Camera

Varifocal lens CCTV cameras come in various aperture sizes, generally, the smallest aperture size of varifocal lens used in commercial CCTV cameras is around 2.8-12mm, the largest is 5-100mm.  A larger aperture means that you can zoom in closer and view images in more detail, a smaller aperture means that you can zoom out further to see a wider area.

PTZ Dome CCTV Camera

PTZ Dome - Commercial CCTV Camera

PTZ CCTV cameras are used in situations in which the machine vision camera must move to cover a larger area or automatically identify and follow a moving target, PTZ CCTV cameras are a common choice for the most advanced security and surveillance applications, such as the monitoring of critical infrastructure.

Fixed Lens CCTV Camera

Fixed Lens - Commercial CCTV Camera

A CCTV security camera that has a fixed lens is permanently set, meaning that its angle of view, focal length and level of zoom cannot be changed unlike a varifocal CCTV camera, PTZ CCTV cameras are an example of a popular camera form that includes a varifocal and motorised lens.
