  1. Check the log/history of the alarm system since the last maintenance service.

  2. Visually inspect all major alarm components for signs of deterioration or damage.

  3. Check mains power supply including charging rates.

  4. Test battery power supply including charging rates.

  5. Walk test all detectors.

  6. Check and test audible warning devices for correct operation.

  7. Test the satisfactory operation of manually operated devices e.g. panic buttons

  8. Check and test remote signalling equipment. (where appropriate)

  9. Make adjustments or minor programming as necessary.

  10. Repair minor faults where necessary. (additional costs may apply)

  11. Provide user training. (if required)

  12. Log all test results.

  13. Return the alarm system to operational status.
